 So before you give up on cutting your fabric (yes, you can cut fabric using the laser!) or Bristol paper look through the binder and find something similar. Once you have a similar material you can start doing some test prints.

 Test out the Speed and Power raising it higher and lower in increments of 5-10 until you have the correct settings that cut through (or engraves as needed) your material. As a rule: slower will be a stronger cut and lower power will create less of a burnt appearance.
