Measure Twice Cut Once

You only get one cut, so make sure to measure as many times as you can! Tonight Tak showed  faculty member Taney Roniger a great hack to get the perfect cut on the Laser Cutter. By turning the power to zero and keeping the pointer light on and then sending the document to print Tak and Taney can watch where the laser will make it's cut. They can then adjust the document or the actual sheet in the laser cutter until the pointer shows the cuts they want to make.

This method is a great way to see what cuts will be made without any of the risks! Stop by the VFL and try it for yourself!
