The Mechanics Behind the Robotic Zoo

The VFL Crew attended a lecture on biomimicry and robots at the Advanced Manufacturing Expo.  As described by the Expo,

"Over the past few years, leading automation companies, as well as university robotics teams, have been creating a menagerie of bionic animals and insects for the purpose of using nature to provide new insights into technological and industrial applications. Learn how these robotic creatures help to audit current trends in R&D and test new technologies and manufacturing methods, as well as encourage creativity through product development."
