Distance switches

The MFA Interaction Design students are back in the VFL today working on their Arduino exercises.  Student Hanzheng Wang has some experience with physical computing so he was challenged by the professor to explore his abilities more and incorporate different types of switches.  The circuit he concocted lights up and dims 3 LEDs in different manners. When the toggle switch is pushed forward, the potentiometer controls dimming. When it is pushed backwards, it activates the ultrasonic sensor which controls dimming based on the distance it is from an object (such as a hand).
