Carbon Dioxide converter

John Boran (MFA in Products of Design, '19) works on his prototype Moxie, a device developed at MIT that converts carbon dioxide into oxygen for use on the surface of Mars. John is prototyping a personal-sized version of this device for his thesis project: designing for the first human explorations of Mars. This is John's first time working with styrene sheets, which can be easily cut with regular exacto blades and bonded with thin layers of styrene glue. He says he would recommend it!
