Star gazing in Central Park

This evening, 2nd-year  MFA Products of Design  student John Boran used the UV printer to lay down the delicate white graphics of a star map onto a laser cut sheet of blue card stock.

The project is part of John's "Experience Design" class, in which he will lead a stargazing tour in Central Park.

Each participant will receive a star map laser cut and printed with day, time, and location specific details, allowing them to line up and spot individual constellations, as well as endlessly reproduce the map for future tours.
