Embroidery magic!

VFL Staff member  Elizabeth Meiklejohn  runs another test for her upcoming tutorial on embroidering from photography on the embroidery machine. She began with the image above of Fuji apples, converted the colors to C, M, Y, and K (seen below) and assigned each of those colors to a different color of embroidery thread.

From there, Elizabeth can play with stitch density and other settings to control the final output and its level of fidelity to the original image.
