This evening, second-year  MFA Fine Arts  student and Visible Futures Lab student worker found a little bit of free time -- between the last student leaving and clean up -- to mill a woodblock print using the VFL's Shopbot CNC router.

The woodblock will serve as a stamp for the cover of his thesis catalogue "Virtually In My Back Yard," which uses the found imagery of historical documents related to the Fresh Kills Landfill in Staten Island alongside his own layout of documentation of his thesis project.
