It's a pedestal making machine

Today,  Groundfloor Incubator  resident and  MFA Products of Design  alumnus (class of 2016) Souvik Paul used the Visible Futures Lab's  Shopbot  CNC router to cut the parts for pedestals for displaying fabricated prototypes at upcoming tradeshows, including the Abilities show for medical supplies tailored to people living with disabilities in Edison, New Jersey.

The work is an extension of his thesis that he presented in 2016, which he is expanding and refining during the incubator program and bringing to multiple trade shows in the coming year.

In addition to his designed objects, Souvik hopes to be able to fabricate all of his display elements in the VFL!
