Let your plant talk to you – through “Bloom”
What looks a little bit like a stereo is called Bloom. It is an interactive pot which provides a real time measurement of soil moisture and the amount of humidity in the air.
David Mahmarian and Saba Singh, SVA Interaction Design students, made this project for their Physical Computing class at the VFL.
For their next iteration, they would like to add sensors to provide details about different kind of soils and make the pot able send alerts when the plant needs more water.
